Pew Hispanic Center - 2012 Election Fact Sheets

The state fact sheets below contain data on the size and social and economic characteristics of the Hispanic and non-Hispanic eligible voter populations. These fact sheets are based on the Center’s tabulations of the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey. Eligible voters are defined as U.S. citizens ages 18 and older. Florida’s Latino population is the third-largest in the nation. More than 4.2 million Hispanics reside in Florida, 8% of all Hispanics in the United States. There are 2.1 million Latino eligible voters in Florida, 10% of all U.S. Latino eligible voters.
