UFCW Union Holds Immigration Workshop with The Heartland Workers Center

The United Food & Commercial Workers, UFCW, has partnered with the Heartland Workers Center to bring a free immigration workshop for the South Omaha Community. The workshop offers free legal advice and pre-screening application to ensure applicants are eligible for Naturalization, TPS, Family Petitions, and status information, among other immigration issues.

In the last immigration workshop, that was held on August 16, 17 and 18, had a successful count of 26 citizenship applications ready to send, 2 TPS for eligible nationals of El Salvador, 2 immigration status information and 3 family petitions.

The next free Immigration Workshop will be on September 27 and 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Heartland Workers Center, 4923 S. 24th St., Suite 301.
